Mesotherapy Treatment
Cellulite results from a combination of fatty tissue and fluid retention. It is considerably more common in women, and it can affect women of all ages. Cellulite is not necessarily attributed to being overweight either, and can affect people of all body shapes and sizes.
Cellulite can be effectively managed with the use of Mesotherapy. Mesotherapy treatment stimulates the mesoderm, or middle layer of the skin, which in turn helps to disburse the cellulite.
Mesotherapy involves injecting small amounts of homeopathic medicine immediately beneath the surface of the skin to break down the cellulite and to improve circulation. The procedure also allows the regeneration of cells and helps the body to rid itself of toxins and excess fluid. This leads to a reduction of fat that improves body shape and health gradually.
A typical treatment takes about 10 minutes and is not painful, offering only minimal discomfort, if any. As it is a simple injection it is a non-surgical procedure and could be done in a lunch break for example. A typical course of treatment would be 2 injections a week over about 4–8 weeks depending on the needs of the patient and the area to be treated. Repeat treatments are normally required every year for about 4–6 weeks.
