Laser Acne Scarring Treatment

Acne scarring occurs when the visible remnants of acne are permanently left on the skin after the acne itself subsides. Laser surgery is a quick, safe and efficient method for treating acne scarring. The laser energy is directed into the skin at the affected area. Treatment times are normally between 30 minutes and 1 hour. The number of treatments required can vary greatly depending on the severity of the scarring.
